I thank Yahshua that one day in the early eighties, as I was walking down a city street, I looked down in the gutter and found a tract that opened up a whole new world of knowledge on the Scriptures. The tract was called "The Holy Bible, Wholly True", published by Last Days Ministries. The following information was taken from that tract.

In 1882, a Russian immigrant named Ivan Panin accepted the New Birth. He became one of the top Mathematicians in the United States. Knowing Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, he studied the Scriptures in their original language. Hebrew and Greek are unique in that their numbering systems do not use separate symbols for numbers as other cultures but instead use the letters of their alphabets to represent numbers. Knowing the numerical values of the letters of the alphabet in words, he began to experiment with letters in words in the Scriptures by replacing them with their numerical values, and soon noticed a mathematical pattern. He was so impressed with his findings that he supplied a representative of the Nobel Research Foundation with volumes of his studies along with his statement that this was evidence that the Bible was the Word of God! Panin found that there were throughout the Scriptures, patterns of prime numbers (especially seven) found in clusters. He would sum the numerical values for words, sentences, paragraphs, passages, and whole books, and found the same patterns in each. He found that the number of words would divide by seven, the number of names divided by seven, the number of words that begin with a vowel and the number of words that beginning with a consonant divide by seven. Words that occurred more than once divide by seven as well as words that appeared only once. The number of nouns as well as the number of words not nouns both divide by seven, as well as the number of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet. Here are a few examples of his findings from the Old Testament:

In just the first sentence:

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
In Hebrew there are 7 words. The 7 words have 28 (4 X 7) letters. There are 3 nouns. The numerical equivalent of the numbers substituting for letters added up is 777 (111 X 7). There is 1 verb. Its summed numerical value is 203 (29 X 7). The Subject of the sentence are the first three words containing 14 letters (2 X 7), while the last four make up the object with exactly 14 (2 X 7) letters. The Hebrew words for the objects (Heaven and Earth) each have 7 letters. The value for the first, middle, and last letters total up to 133 (19 X 7). The numeric value for the first and last words is 1393 (199 X 7). The value of the first and last letters is 497 (71 X 7). The value of the first and last letters of each of the words in between is 896 (128 X 7). In this verse alone are 30 different features of 7 with only 11 listed here. The chance of this happening accidentally is 1 in 33,000,000,000,000 (33 trillion).

Examples from the New Testament:
Matt 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
The Greek equivalent has 49 words (7 X 7). The number of words beginning with vowels is 28 (4 X 7). Those beginning with a consonant are 21 (3 X 7). Those ending in a vowel are 7, those ending with a consonant are 42 (6 X 7). The 49 words have 266 (38 X 7) letters. There are 140 (20 X 7) vowels, 126 (18 X 7) consonants. 14 (2 X 7) words occur once while 35 (5 X 7) occur more than once. The number of nouns is 42 (6 X 7). Those that are not equal 7. Male names occur 56 times (8 X 7). Female names occur 3 times with the numerical total of their names adding up to 14 (2 X 7). Panin said it would have taken Matthew several months to figure this out IF it was even possible but the names were chosen before Matthew was born!

You can take any book of the Bible or all of it and come out with the same pattern from cover to cover. I don't know Greek or Hebrew and I have spent hours personally experimenting with this, and you can too. The Numerical values for the Greek and Hebrew Alphabet are below.

Take $20, and buy a Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance with the Hebrew and Greek dictionaries in the back, at your local bookstore. This has the words of the Bible linked to the Greek and Hebrew words in their respective alphabets in the dictionaries. You can take any sentence in the bible (or whole paragraphs if you have the time and patience) and look up the Greek and Hebrew words. Then substitute the numerical values for the letters and start experimenting!
